The Arts Scene at NC State

Visual and Performing Arts
NC State is home to a vibrant visual and performing arts
scene that welcomes students from all disciplines and
experience levels.
In theatre, students can audition for multiple mainstage
productions or volunteer backstage to learn the art of
scene building, costume and lighting design and stage
management.
Music and dance enthusiasts can join a wide array of
ensembles and companies, from choirs to jazz bands and
traditional dance techniques to improvised performances
in nontraditional spaces.
